24th Annual Contra Costa USA - 2010 Our 24th annual Contra Costa USA (CCUSA), presented by the Contra Costa Council and Chevron, was a huge success. This is the premier business program held each year in Contra Costa County. The program draws the attention of the entire region with national, local and state leaders in business, politics, education and the community. This year's morning program featured Opening remarks by Steve Westly, a prominent venture capitalist with interest in the Green Economy; two local/regional panels with a focus on emerging technologies in environmental and water industries and Christine Todd Whitman, former governor of New Jersey and EPA Director under President George W. Bush. Her luncheon presentation will discuss "Staying Ahead While Going Green." The keynote event at dinner was a well received presentation by Michael Milken, Chair of the Milken Institute.
Planning for next year is currently underway. Copies of the presentations may be viewed from this page.
Questions should be directed to the Contra Costa Council (925)246-1880. If you would be interested in sponsoring next year’s program, please contact our office.
